Small dumbbells are designed for strength training or rehabilitation. They allow you to work on your entire upper body: arms, upper arms, shoulders, trapezius, back, pecs, and the entire upper back.

WORKING OUT WITH DUMBBELLS?
PREPARING YOUR MUSCLES FOR YOUR WORKOUT
Before each workout, it is essential to warm up your body correctly. The 5 to 10 minutes that you spend are necessary to prevent any risk of injury. Do the following exercises:
- Roll your shoulders in one direction, then the other
- Raise and lower your shoulders several times
- Do a set of side tilts and rotations of your head to the right and left
- Do two or three sets of side raises without dumbbells or with a very light weight
BE IN THE RIGHT STANCE
Your back should be straight, tummy tight, legs bent and hip-distance apart. To work effectively, you need to control each movement as you raise and lower, and take care to engage the muscle you are targeting.
AVOID
The most common error is in doing the motion casually, without paying attention to the muscle that's working. In all exercises you do, take care to control the force of the contraction, so that only the targeted muscle moves and the rest of the body isn't working.
