#1 THE ALKALINE DIET
What is it?
It maintains an optimal pH level in the body of between 7 and 7.5, the idea being to stabilise our blood and make sure the body functions normally. It regulates the acidity of the blood.
What are the benefits?
Modern diets, which contain processed foods, combine with sport, stress and pollution, etc to make our blood more acidic. The alkaline diet reduces the level of acidity in the blood and the negative impact this can have on both our health and sports performance.

#2 THE KETOGENIC DIET
What is it?
This is a low-carbohydrate, medium-protein, high-fat diet. It is very restrictive in nature. If you want to follow this diet, we recommend you seek the advice of a doctor or dietician.
What are the benefits?
It encourages weight loss, may have a positive impact when it comes to fighting cancer, and can be good for the brain.

#3 THE PALEOLITHIC DIET
What is it?
It's a diet based on our genetics and which involves eating the kind of foods we ate when we were hunter-gatherers.
What are the benefits?
It's effective in terms of weight loss because it gives you the sensation of being full. In health terms, it can lower the risk of getting cancer, prevent cardiovascular problems and improve your general well-being.

#4 GLUTEN-FREE DIET
What is it?
As its name suggests, this is a diet that contains no gluten. Gluten is a molecule that can cause inflammation of the lining of the small intestine wall and can have a serious impact on our health when it is not digested properly.
What are the benefits?
A gluten-free diet is essential for people who suffer from coeliac disease, which is a condition involving an immune reaction to gluten, which can cause them serious digestive problems.
Some people are gluten-intolerant, without being allergic to it, but even they suffer unpleasant symptoms, such as digestive issues. A gluten-free diet helps them lose weight, regulate their digestive system better, and relieve skin conditions and mood disorders.

#5 LACTOSE-FREE DIET
What is it?
This is a diet free of lactose, a type of sugar in milk.
Lactose is found in lots of processed food and in dairy products, with the exception of Comté and Parmesan cheese, among others. Lactose-free milk is also available.
What are the benefits?
It is designed for people who are allergic to lactose or lactose-intolerant and helps them to digest food better, feel less tired and improve their athletic performance.

#6 THE PARISIAN DIET
What is it?
The Parisian Diet goes beyond the traditional three meals a day, and allows you to eat up to six or seven times.
What are the benefits?
It's aimed at people who do weight training and who want to develop their muscle mass and gain weight. The Parisian Diet involves an increase in calories, which is why your calorie intake is spread over six or seven meals instead of three.

#7 THE VEGETARIAN DIET
What is it?
Vegetarians do not eat meat. Their diet consists of dairy produce, eggs and honey, among other things.
What are the benefits?
The vegetarian diet holds certain values dear, including respect for animals. People often follow it out of choice and without looking for any immediate benefits in terms of health or weight loss.
#8 THE VEGAN DIET
What is it?
Vegans do not eat animal-derived products or food. They follow a diet that excludes meat, fish, poultry, dairy products, eggs and honey.
What are the benefits?
It is a lifestyle choice. It sets great store by certain values, not least respect for animals and the environment. People often follow a vegan diet through choice, without looking for any immediate benefits in terms of health or weight loss.
Our advice: We strongly recommend taking vitamin B12 supplements if following this diet.
#9 THE FLEXITARIAN DIET
What is it?
The flexitarian diet combines a traditional balanced diet with vegetarianism. It excludes nothing though it does recommend only a limited amount of meat.
What are the benefits?
Flexitarianism is a way of life. It sets great store by certain values, not least respect for animals and the environment. People often follow a vegan diet through choice, without looking for any immediate benefits in terms of health or weight loss.

#10 "THE ZONE DIET"
What is it?
Followers of the Zone Diet eat a ratio of 40% carbohydrates, 30% fat and 30% protein. It is typically prescribed in "blocks" of five meals a day.
What are the benefits?
Its main objective is to control insulin levels in the body. It helps stop carbs from being stored in fat cells in the adipose tissue, reduces the risk of illness and aids weight loss.
